Our Process
From the beginning to the end of a solar installation process, your experience with Occidental Power will be seamless. We handle all aspects of an installation from construction permits to processing rebate paperwork. Our personable team will share their expertise with you throughout the entire process.
Quote - after we hear from you by telephone (415-681-8861), email (sales@occidentalpower.com) or from an online quote request, our associate will contact you to evaluate your needs, available roof space and electrical service and analyze energy usage from your utility bills.
Proposal - Our associate will prepare a proposal outlining the system equipment, contract cost and rebate or tax credit information.
Contract - After you have reviewed the proposal, we will send you a contract. Upon signature, we will begin processing any necessary paperwork and begin planning the project production.
Design – Our in-house designer will gather information and present a design for your review.
Construction – We handle all material procurement, permits, engineering and installation. We work with your contractors, if appropriate, to ensure a logical process.
Utility interconnection - We connect your system to the utility electric meter/grid, test and activate the new solar system, and obtain final approval from the building inspection department.
Solar Powered! – After the project is complete, we will prepare the utility application and ensure that all relevant incentives and credits are fully maximized. The project manager will walk you through the system, describing equipment and providing warrantee and product guides.
