This system was donated to the City of San Francisco by Shell Solar for World Environment Day 2005. Occidental Power installed the new copper conductor panels on the roof of the elevator building in United Nations Plaza.
Fiesta Laundromat
This was the first solar awning system in San Francisco. It is a 5kW net metered system with 300W ASE modules mounted on both the roof and the custom awning.
Hill Castle Apartments
This 30 kW system consists of 204 Sharp 175-watt modules and one Xantrex inverter. It is one of the largest installations in downtown Oakland.
PG&E recognized this installation as the 10,000th system to interconnect to the utility. The 11 kW system is composed of 66 Sharp 205-watt modules and 3 SMA 6000 inverters.
Located in the Haight/Ashbury district, this was the first commercial net metered system in the city of San Francisco. It is a 10kW system consisting of 96 Solarex 120W photovoltaic panels.
