Meet Our Staff

Greg Kennedy, Founder and General Manager

Greg is a General Contractor with B and C-46 (solar) licenses and has over 30 years experience installing Solar Hot Water and Photovoltaic systems. Throughout the 1980’s, Greg was part owner and project manager of the Solar Center in San Francisco. He was also Field Supervisor for Trident Energy Systems and New Energy Works. Greg is a graduate of Occidental College.

Geoff Fedoroff, Senior Designer

Geoff has been with Occidental Power since May 2001. Geoff designs Occidental Power PV systems, contributes to special project development, and provides technical engineering assistance for trouble-shooting and analysis. Geoff studied Environmental Engineering at Humboldt State.

Paul Luna, Production Manager

Paul has been with Occidental Power since September 2001. Paul directly manages the field installation crews, as well as manages the progress of solar projects from material procurement to final permit sign-off. Paul has a degree in Environmental Technology with an emphasis on renewable energy from Humboldt State University

Francois Soderbom, Rebate Specialist

Francois joined Occidental Power in January 2008. Francois manages all of the rebate and incentives for our clients. He is also our liaison with PG&E, the California Solar Initiative (CSI) and San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SPUC) GOsolarSF incentive programs. Francois Soderbom studied Business at San Francisco State University.

Jay Ruzicka, Design Engineer

Jay has been with Occidental Power since April 2009. He moved to California in 2001 to start working in the PV industry. He has experience in sales, design, and project management. He can design on-grid PV systems with or without batteries. He recently installed a solar PV lighting system in Nicaragua while volunteering with Green Empowerment. Jay studied Chemical Engineering & Appropriate Technology at Drexel University.

Kimo Bailey, Sales Representative

Kimo has worked with Occidental Power as a Project Manager on special projects since 1992. Kimo possesses a broad knowledge of the construction industry and is an expert in solar PV and Thermal. He can analyze the structure of your buildings and your utility bills to determine your building's best solar potential. Kimo is a graduate of Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute.
